I think for beginners it's great, since you can use it for free, however, if you're a beginners and want a broader depth you might want to try using www.bigcharts.com. I liked them enough to use them on my website for almost all the images. I agree, though that for day trading, one must use more advanced tools once they are past the novice stage. Today's advanced day trading software allows for entering trades and moving stops directly from the charts.
